Faiths United in Harmony
Humanity in Harmony brought together eight faith traditions at London’s historic King’s College Chapel for an inspiring evening of music, dance, storytelling and spiritual expression. Representing Zoroastrianism, Brahma Kumaris, Sikhism, Paganism, the Bahá’í faith, Buddhism, Hinduism and Scientology, performers celebrated their distinctive traditions while highlighting the shared values that connect us all.
A Unity in Diversity initiative, the event demonstrated the power of friendship, cooperation and cultural exchange to build bridges between communities. Supported by the Palan Foundation, the volunteer-led concert showed how people of different faiths can work together to celebrate diversity and promote greater understanding and harmony. – (Click Photo to see Photo).
Humanity in Harmony
Humanity in Harmony, a Unity of Diversity event held at the Zoroastrian Centre during Inter Faith Week, brought together people from many different faiths, beliefs, and backgrounds to share, listen, and learn from one another while helping to develop the Unity of Diversity project (see uriuk.org), which aims to build stronger links between communities and encourage cooperation across differences.
Envisioning Interfaith Together
Envisioning Interfaith Together was an event held during Inter Faith Week. It created space to reflect on what it means to live well together in a diverse society and to imagine new forms of cooperation in response to shared challenges, from social division to global crises. Through open dialogue, storytelling, and practical discussion, participants explored how interfaith relationships can nurture understanding, challenge prejudice, and inspire joint action for the common good in communities.

Cooperation Circles
We hope to see more UK-based interfaith initiatives choosing to become Cooperation Circles affiliated with URI UK. There is no membership fee and no obligation to attend meetings. Still, you will be connected to an immense network of like-minded people worldwide, with multiple opportunities for partnerships and joint projects. To become a Cooperation Circle, your group must have at least seven members from at least three religious backgrounds (including humanism). It should also agree to abide by the URI Charter.
