Be a part of our mission to foster understanding and peace among diverse faith communities.

Our Mission

We are a forum of diverse voices — representing various religions, faiths, beliefs, and traditions — united by a single purpose: to serve. Through our words, our actions, and our deeds, we seek to stand alongside those in need, to answer the challenges of our age, and to help heal the wounds of division.
Our endeavour is both humble and bold: to confront the great issues of our time — from the climate crisis that threatens our shared home, to the violence and hatred faced by those who are simply different. We believe that collaboration is a strength. By pooling our resources, leveraging our skills, and coordinating our actions, we can amplify the impact of our service.

Though we are young as a forum, our roots run deep. Our collective experience, knowledge, and networks reach across the United Kingdom. From these foundations, we will nurture harmony, dispel fear, and inspire courage. Together, we will help communities rise, heal, and flourish in a spirit of equality, justice, and respect for all.

 

Values into Actions 

Introduction

A multi-faith working group has developed these guiding principles for The Unity in Diversity Forum. It presented them at the ‘Harmony in Humanity’ gathering on 19 November 2025 at the Zoroastrian Centre, London, which brought together 70 participants reflecting the Forum’s diversity. The principles were further refined and formally approved at a gathering at the ASHA Centre from 16-18 May 2026.

 

We Are

Rooted in Dharmic traditions and diverse faiths and beliefs

As a forum that connects, collaborates, and supports

We do not…

Each religious and belief tradition represents itself. We are not a representative network.
• We value democracy and respect political processes but we are not party-political.
• We do not produce collective statements.
• We do not proselytise; we respect diverse sacred paths.

 

The Unity in Diversity Forum’s vision is not just spoken in words but grounded in the deep well of wisdom drawn from our founding members from the Bahá’í, Brahma Kumari, Buddhist, Hindu, Jain, Pagan, Scientologist, Sikh and Zoroastrian traditions—each affirming that diversity is beauty, unity is strength, respect is fundamental, hope is a birthright, and selfless service is a privileged duty.”
