The Unity in Diversity Forum (“the Forum” is a multi-faith group rooted in Dharmic traditions and diverse faiths and beliefs.

How and why did the Forum come about?
The Forum exists to fully represent the untapped potential and distinct practices of multi-faith communities, including Dharmic traditions and diverse faiths and beliefs.

Meeting fortnightly to connect, co-develop, and advance multi-faith initiatives towards the common good.
Who funds the Forum?
We rely on the contributions of our member organisations as well as external funding streams that flow through URI UK.
What are the Forum’s aims and objectives?
The Forum aims to connect, collaborate and support its members. Through dialogue, collective decision-making and shared action, we work in partnership for the common good.
The Forum seeks to promote fairness and opportunity for all, whilst upholding a reverence for the Earth and for one another. We serve and give a warm welcome. We seek to celebrate belief and value others equally, including people with no religious practice.
What values and guiding principles does the Forum promote?
The Forum deeply values the urgent need for the Sacred Feminine to be ignited within all to support mutual respect and shared flourishing. We intend to deepen our attunement to this potential within our multi-faith context to benefit all our activities.

The Forum supports interfaith and community cohesion by extending the boundaries of interfaith engagement, enabling a voice and a sense of belonging to communities that have traditionally felt voiceless and excluded.

The Forum works with some external organisations and partners and aspires to extend that network.

Yes. We value democracy and respect political processes but we are not party-political (see principles)

The Forum supports in all its activities the inclusion of faiths on an equal footing and endeavours to treat all faiths equally. We seek to actively learn from one another, to enable a culture of mutual respect and shared flourishing.
