United Religions Initiative (URI) has released its 2025 Annual Impact Report, spotlighting grassroots peacebuilding and interfaith cooperation across a growing global network. In a March 2026 update, URI said it is now connecting communities in 120+ countries and added 71 new ‘Cooperation Circles’ in 2025—locally led groups that bring together people of different faiths and cultures to address conflict, community needs, and environmental challenges.

The report highlights 46 global learning and connection events designed to help members share practical tools, strengthen relationships, and respond to rising polarisation and violence. URI also reported 2,100+ Individual Members across 122 countries, underscoring what it calls “a global movement built on local leadership.”

URI’s work ranges from dialogue and mediation to youth-led initiatives and projects that link ‘care for the Earth’ with community healing, including tree planting, water protection, and environmental education. The organization said its Strategic Framework (2025–2030) will focus on strengthening the network and expanding collaboration, with particular emphasis on violence prevention and Earth restoration.

“Local voices can create a global movement for change,” URI said. URI encourages readers and supporters to explore the full report online, which compiles stories from regions and action areas, including human rights and women’s empowerment.
