Our Vision

CELEBRATING UNITY EMBRACING DIVERSITY

Be a part of our mission to foster understanding and peace among diverse faith communities.

Our Mission

We are a forum of diverse voices — representing various religions, faiths, beliefs, and traditions — united by a single purpose: to serve. Through our words, our actions, and our deeds, we seek to stand alongside those in need, to answer the challenges of our age, and to help heal the wounds of division.
Our endeavour is both humble and bold: to confront the great issues of our time — from the climate crisis that threatens our shared home, to the violence and hatred faced by those who are simply different. We believe that collaboration is a strength. By pooling our resources, leveraging our skills, and coordinating our actions, we can amplify the impact of our service.

Though we are young as a forum, our roots run deep. Our collective experience, knowledge, and networks reach across the United Kingdom. From these foundations, we will nurture harmony, dispel fear, and inspire courage. Together, we will help communities rise, heal, and flourish in a spirit of equality, justice, and respect for all.

Values into Actions

We Are
Rooted in Dharmic, Faiths, Beliefs and value-based traditions
“Truth is one; sages call it by many names.” – Rig Veda 1.164.46 (Hindu).

Guided by the energy that flows through all beings and all creation

We Act
As a Forum that connects, collaborates, and supports
“Recognise the human race as one.” – Guru Gobind Singh (Sikh)

Through dialogue, deep listening, collective decision-making, and shared action.

“Consultation bestows greater awareness and transmutes conjecture into certitude.” – Bahá’u’lláh (Baha’i)

In solidarity with others, working in partnership for the common good
“Good thoughts, good words, good deeds.” – Zoroastrian motto

With and in hope
“Hope is the companion of power, and the mother of success.” – Zoroastrian teaching attributed to Avesta tradition

We Seek
Fairness, opportunity and joy for all
“One should treat all beings as one would like to be treated.” – Mahavira (Jain)

Reverence for the Earth, for creation, and for one another
“The earth is my witness.” – The Buddha at enlightenment (Buddhist)

To serve humbly, offer hospitality, and give and welcome friendship
“Let us be united, let us speak in harmony, let our minds apprehend alike.” – Rig Veda 10.191.2 (Hindu)

To celebrate belief, and value others equally, people with no religious practice
“The real solution to discrimination lies in finding our similarities as human beings and being there for each other despite the different paths we walk.” Sarah Kerr, Pagan Federation President “

What We Are Not
Representative network – each religious and belief tradition represents itself.
• Political – we value democracy and respect political processes.
• Produce statements that divide, threaten our endeavour.
• Proselytise – we adore creation, respect diverse sacred paths.

The Forum’s vision is not only expressed in your own words but also grounded in the deep well of wisdom from Hindu, Sikh, Baha’i, Zoroastrian, Jain, Buddhist, and Pagan traditions—each affirming unity, respect, and service.
