The Humanity in Harmony Gathering, held on 19 November 2025 at the Zoroastrian Centre in Harrow, brought together around 70 participants representing a wide range of faiths, beliefs, and value-based traditions. The event marked the culmination of four months of online collaboration among members of eight faith communities, all committed to strengthening unity, safeguarding diversity, and building an interfaith movement rooted in shared values and cooperation.

The programme included welcome addresses, devotional reflections, silent meditation, and a shared meal that encouraged friendship and relationship-building across communities. Young people played a central role by reflecting on the theme of listening, highlighting it as a universal principle found across traditions. They emphasised that deep, respectful listening—to others and to oneself—can foster trust, dialogue, understanding, and social harmony.

Interactive roundtable discussions focused on refining the group’s guiding principles and shaping a practical strategy for 2026. Participants highlighted the importance of grassroots collaboration, youth engagement, education, strong local partnerships, and cross-faith learning. They also explored ways to complement existing interfaith initiatives while developing a distinctive identity centred on common values and collective action.

The gathering concluded with reflections on the Unity in Diversity Group’s vision and a Zoroastrian prayer, inspiring participants to continue building an inclusive, compassionate, and resilient society where diversity is recognised as a source of strength and unity.
